CaseOrbit
Privacy Policy

Scope
This policy describes how CaseOrbit handles information while helping a luggage-rental counter fit, hand off, inspect, and archive physical suitcase rentals.
Information stored on this device
CaseOrbit stores traveller labels, destinations, rental dates, packing estimates, checklist states, selected product categories, operator-added asset specifications and identifiers, and event traces in the app's local storage. This information is used only to run the on-device rental workflow.
Camera and asset-tag verification
Camera access is requested only after you open asset-tag verification. Apple's AVFoundation reads QR, Data Matrix, Aztec, and Code 128 metadata live. Camera frames are not photographed, saved, or uploaded. A manually entered printed tag is compared locally with the assigned suitcase code and is identified in the event trace.
Collection, sharing, and tracking
CaseOrbit has no account system, advertising SDK, analytics SDK, tracking technology, cloud database, or third-party data transfer. The app does not collect contacts, precise location, photos, microphone recordings, payment credentials, or advertising identifiers.
Retention and deletion
Records remain on the device until you delete them. Swipe an archived capsule to delete that record, use Delete all local rental records in About & Privacy to remove every active and archived capsule, or remove the app to delete its local data. The bundled product library remains when rental records are cleared.
Payments and remote services
CaseOrbit does not charge cards, transfer money, hold deposits, contact travellers, reserve remote inventory, or connect to a rental backend. Rates and deposit notes are local operational records for an in-person physical service.
Your choices
Camera permission can be denied or changed in iOS Settings; printed tags can be entered manually. You can review and delete locally stored rental records at any time using the controls described above.
